DUCKY IS A SAN FRANCISCO BRED AND BASED PRODUCER AND DJ WHO HAS BEEN PLAYING CLUBS SINCE THEY WERE 13 (VIA FAKE ID VIBES). For years they have been quietly shaping their sound - a range of melodic pop tunes and heavy rave bangers that stretch from uplifting to headbanging to full-on hardcore. After moving to the West Coast from New York on a whim, Ducky quickly bubbled up in both the Los Angeles scene as well as online, boasting releases on Twitch star Ninja’s collaborative compilation with Astralwerks, Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats, and Jauz’s Bite This, to name a few. They easily move through musical roles, premiering an Adult Swim select on Fader one day, throwing a sold out warehouse show in LA the next. Ducky’s sound is able to transcend any one scene, with their music’s raw emotionality and top-tier production earning cosigns ranging from Skrillex to NPR Music.

Few DJs put as much energy, intensity and insanity into their performances as DJ VENOM. He continues to relentlessly tour the continent, unleashing his signature sounds to packed dance floors of sweat covered fans. This New England native has been a major figure in the North American rave scene for over two decades, wowing crowds with his flawless mixing, floor-filling beats and crazy turntable tricks. In 1994, Venom started Volume Productions, a rave oriented company dedicated to the advancement of the underground electronic scene. Not only did Volume release over 70 DJ Venom mix tapes, but they also were bent on breeding an army of party-goers by throwing numerous raves and events, including the famous ENERGY night.

Venom also gained notoriety for his sick scratching and turntable skills that earned him numerous awards in competitions and battles throughout the years, including two second place finishes at the WMC battles in Miami. In 2000, Venom signed with the legendary Underground Construction label out of Chicago. His hard house sound was a perfect match and he began releasing a series of top-selling CDs including the “Straight Bangin'” series, the “House Blend” series and the “Raise the Volume” series. Today, Venom continues to champion the hard dance sounds, releasing an arsenal of headbanging hard house, hardstyle and hardcore tracks. He continues to put out mix CDs on his own label, Morlock Musik, as well as various side projects under the aliases of Scratch Gringo and Eddie Brock. After 20+ years behind the decks, Venom continues to breathe life into the underground scene, and he doesn’t plan on stopping.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Plans

While we are so happy to be getting back to live events, we want you all to know that we are also very aware of the new and developing information on COVID-19. We take everyone's health and well-being very seriously and are actively working on measures to try to keep everyone as safe as possible...and we need your help! There are some steps we can all take together to make sure we can dance the night away safely.

Getting vaccinated is the best step that each of us can take to curb the spread of the virus and help to protect ourselves and each other. We’ll provide resources below for those who need it. You will need to show proof of vaccination upon entry. A photo of your vaccination card will be acceptable.

If you're not fully vaccinated, the Rhode Island Department of Health recommends you wear a mask indoors near anyone you don't live with to protect yourself and your household from COVID-19. Your mask should fit snugly but comfortably over your nose, mouth, and chin without any gaps.

If you are not fully vaccinated YOU WILL NEED TO GET TESTED and receive a negative result within 72 hours of the event. You will need to show proof of your negative test upon entry. A photo of your negative test will be acceptable.

You can get tested for free in many locations around your state, including CVS and Walgreens.

Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the event, and masks will be available upon entry for anyone in need.

If you are feeling sick the day of the event, please stay home. The safety of the Tight Crew community is our number one priority. We are so looking forward to being reunited with all of you!

Tight Crew events are so much more than “just another party” for us. It’s a time when we come together as family, dance to our favorite beats, and let go of the worries of the outside world. But we also want to make sure those around us are being healthy and safe.

We do not condone drug use at our events. If you choose to partake in any illicit substances, please be aware of its potential effects on your body, mind, and nervous system. If you plan on drinking alcohol, be mindful of your body and your limitations. We encourage everyone to water up and stay hydrated, so you can keep your muscles happy and your energy high. If you find yourself in need of water, or any other type of aid, please look for a venue or Tight Crew staff member. We are all here for you, and we will make sure you get the help you need. ❤

On that note, we ask that you look out for your fellow ravers at events; both long-term friends, and complete strangers. If you see someone looking like they need a buddy, introduce yourself, lend a hand, and let them know you’re there for them. It goes a long way. If you see someone being mistreated, say something! If someone appears to be in an uncomfortable situation, ask politely if they are okay. Respect other people’s limits - and your own. Everyone has a bubble and different levels of comfortability, check-in before you touch, hug, or dance in someone’s personal space. We alone are accountable and responsible for our actions, but we as members of this community can be role models to the rest of society

We are a close-knit community full of friends and family, familiar strangers, and unique individuals. We hope that everyone feels they can freely express themselves at Tight Crew events without fear of judgment or intolerance. It’s critical that we work together to maintain this community as a welcoming safe space for all of us.
